(a) Letter from Mrs P Gardner
The Committee considered a letter from Mrs Gardner requesting that one kerb set be placed around adjoining graves of her late mother and grandparents. Her grandparents grave already contained a kerb set but her mother’s grave was recent and did not.
RESOLVED: That no departure be made from the existing resolution not to allow kerb sets on new graves.
(b) Letter from Mr R M Lacey
The Committee considered a letter from Mr Lacey requesting permission to purchase a burial plot at the Cemetery although he was not a resident.
RESOLVED: That due to the circumstances involved permission be granted for Mr Lacey to purchase a burial plot.
In the absence of any other business the Chairman thanked those present for attending and closed the meeting.
