Applications for the Committee’s consideration:-

The following applications were submitted for the Committee’s consideration:

Application No 91784 – Myrtle Cottage, 1 Queens Road
Single storey extension to the rear west and south side elevation

RESOLVED:  To recommend that permission be refused as the proposals do not fit in with the character of the Conservation Area, the revision to the porch would destroy the character of the cottage and the size appears excessive, but to accept the decision reached by the NF NPA’s officers under delegated powers.

Application No 91804 – Outside 11 Shaggs Meadow
Pole for telecommunications installation
Prior notification of intention to carry out development

RESOLVED:  To state that as we have not received a planning application with details we are unable to make comment.

Application No 91805 – Outside Maple Tree Cottage, Beaulieu Road
Pole for telecommunications installation
Prior notification of intention to carry out development

RESOLVED:  To state that as we have not received a planning application with details we are unable to make comment.

Application No 91794 – 56 High Street
Change of use of second floor office to one residential unit

RESOLVED:  To recommend that permission be granted but to accept the decision reached by the NF NPA’s officers under delegated powers and to ask the officers to check whether this should be housing and to apply affordable housing guidelines.

Application No 91880 – Forest Glen, Pikes Hill
One and two storey extension; conservatory; two storey outbuilding

RESOLVED:  To recommend that permission be granted as the proposals will enhance the main house and tidy up the outside appearance of the shed area.  However the Parish Council note that there are neighbour objections regarding the siting of the garage and would also ask that it is stipulated that the garage is not used as a dwelling.
