MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE HELD AT THE COMMUNITY CENTRE, LYNDHURST

ON TUESDAY 22 January 2008 AT 7.15 PM

Informal Presentation:

Mr Elliott and Mr Mascall reported that NFDC were considering plans to either consolidate their operations from one site or make the present two main sites’ usage more efficient.

 

One option might be to extend the office accommodation at Appletree Court and a brief outline of the possibilities was given, which was likely to culminate in a planning application being submitted to the NF NPA in early February.

 

NFDC felt it appropriate to outline their ideas to the Parish Council before the application was submitted.

RESOLVED: To recommend that permission be refused but to accept the decision reached by the NF NPA’s officers under delegated powers. No concerns were expressed regarding extensions to the house but concern was expressed regarding the scale and design of the proposed garage. The garage alterations to the previous application are minimal and do not address neighbour concerns.

RESOLVED: To recommend that permission be granted. The Parish Council are pleased to see the reduction in height, which will reduce the impact. The proposals replace an existing system and are necessary to comply with environmental health regulations.
