Women's
Institute is a democratic, social & educational(in its widest possible sense)charity. Every WI provides speakers & demonstrators monthly on a variety of topics decided by members. Other meetings, crafts, walking, discussion or drama groups, choirs etc., are decided by members of individual WIs.
The subscription is deliberately modest in order to ensure that all women who wish to join may do so.
Events are organised throughout Hampshire & include crafts, arts, sports, leisure activities, visits to places of interest, home economics & gardening, music, speech & drama, public & international
affairs and leadership. |
