Lyndhurst and Ashurst – PC Andy White

I am pleased to report that crime levels in January were very low.

There was a more serious incident in Ashurst on the 11/01/08 at 02.00 hrs where a male walking home from work was robbed.

He was in the underpass at Foxhills when he was punched in the face by one man and had another place a hand in his pocket. The two men then ran off.

Two Police officers were also assaulted in the line of their duty.

One after arresting a drunk male in Lyndhurst following a Domestic incident and another at a School by a pupil. Luckily they didn’t sustain serious injuries.

On a positive note a member of the public at Boltons Bench in Lyndhurst observed a female acting suspiciously near to the parked cars.

She called the Police and followed her keeping in touch with the Police till they located her . She was arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal.

She was well known to the Police. This is just the kind of help and support we need. Well done.
