Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in High Street, Lyndhurst between 11pm on Tuesday, December 18 and 7am on Wednesday, December 19.
The homeowner, a woman in her 40s, woke up on Wednesday morning to find someone had entered her home overnight and carried out a search of her property.
It is believed that a security light sensor was removed from the front of the property and entry was gained by forcing open a ground floor window.
A small amount of cash, bank cards and a set of 150-year-old butter knives were stolen from the address.
