Police investigating the incident in which a woman was found with a serious head injury in Lyndhurst on Monday, January 19, are no longer treating the incident as suspicious.
The woman was found at around 5.30am in the foyer area of Lloyds TSB bank in the High Street.
Police enquiries have led officers to believe that the injuries suffered by the woman were caused by an unfortunate accident.
The 51-year-old woman is currently recovering in Southampton General Hospital, and it is hoped she will be able to make a full recovery.
