Lyndhurst Library is re-opening on 1st February in the newly re-built Community Centre.
The library has been designed to meet modern standards and is bright, spacious and lively. It is now an open and welcoming environment for families with a colourful children’s area and new and improved reading stock for the rest of the community.
Hampshire County Council Executive Member for Culture Communities and Recreation Councillor Margaret Snaith-Tempia, said: “Hampshire County Council is dedicated to modernising its library service and making each library an inviting place to learn, socialise and have fun. I would like to thank Lyndhurst residents for their patience while the work was carried out and I hope both old and new library users can now benefit from the much improved facility.”
New features include:

Through modernising the library experience by making it more accessible and vibrant in a way that exceeds expectations we hope to encourage customers to continue to return whilst allowing library staff to provide a more personalised service.
