
2012 parking clocks for New Forest District Council car parks are available to purchase from 14 November.
Councillor Paul Vickers, portfolio holder for planning and transportation, said:
“We are one of the very few councils to offer parking clocks, which are more cost effective than pay and display if you regularly use the council’s car parks.”
The following clocks are available:
District-wide Long Stay clocks, £100
Valid for a12 month period commencing 1 January, these can be used in all NFDC car parks, including the council’s amenity (coastal) car parks. This provides parking at a rate of less than £2 per week.
District-wide Long Stay 3 monthly clocks, £25
Commencing 1 January, these can be used in all NFDC car parks, including the council’s amenity (coastal) car parks. This provides parking at a rate of less than £2 per week.
Short stay clocks, £20
Valid for a 12 month period commencing 1 January, these can be used in any town and village car park. Residents can park for 3 hours on as many occasions as they like, throughout the district for less than 40p per week.
